May 2011 Blog Post

May started out as a bummer. Since this year started I wanted to sell some stuff at the garage sale. I got a lot of stuff ready and it usually takes place on the first Saturday of May, but it was April 30th. So that was a bummer.

Later on in May Osama Bin Laden died and then on May 4th is an Unofficial Star Wars day (May the 4th be with you). Me and Joanna bought some Giants tickets in September for Star Wars Day. Here’s what they say on the website
“The Force” was strong with our Giants in 2010 and now, you can participate in a special day bringing together Giants and Star Wars fans alike! Your ticket package will include a ticket in one of our Star Wars sections, spread over a couple different seating areas in the park, access to our pre-game festivities and a very special Star Wars themed Giants giveaway item! Additionally, your purchase will grant you access to our post game screening of Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back.
So If you haven’t bought tickets yet, you should definitely look into it.

With Osman leaving the country soon, We went to watch the midnight showing of “Thor” the night before he goes back to school in the Caribbean. I thought it was funny waiting in line. Besides the smelly fat nerds there were a couple of people who dressed up as Thor. The movie was good; and like all Marvel Comic movies, there was something after the credits which most people didn’t get so I looked it up and I still didn’t really understand it. But If your watching Captain America next month, stay after the credits because this will be a big lead in for “The Avengers“.

I got a cool package from PlayStation. It came with a thank you note for Beta testing a reward program.

As a gift they sent everyone who leveled up in this reward system got a shirt that said “PlayStation” in japanese.

Let’s see… the PlayStation Network finally came back online, the TV show “Smallville” had it’s series finale, I found a new ice cream I like called “Late Night Snack” from Ben & Jerry’s. Fudge covered potato chips? Oh yeah, that’s the stuff.

Oh yeah, I survived the rapture. I didn’t really think it would happen anyway. There was this thing going around where if you are chosen for the rapture you disappear leaving your clothes behind. wanted people to send pictures of this so I got some clothes and did one. the

The next day, Joanna and myself went to Sacramento to see Stand-up comedy with Gabriel Iglesias. We saw the new “Pirates of the Caribbean” and that night we got a front row table for Gabriel. It was really funny, he had a lot of new stuff and when his set was over he told us that his show was being recorded for a new comedy CD. Since we were at the front of the stage, you may be able to hear us laugh since we were close to the microphones. I got a shirt and Joanna got a shirt as well as a DVD. That’s about it for May, Thanks for reading.

April 2011 [BlogPost]

April’s Fools Day, I wasn’t really going to do any pranks. I was swimming at my cousins house and Joanna said we should “Pick a Date” for our wedding. We did and we got some good reactions but we came clean and told everyone it was a prank.

The next day was our 3 year anniversary. Joanna said we can go to WonderCon in SF. It was pretty cool. We mostly walked around and met up with Ciera and Christine who dressed up. We caught up with Joanna’s old boss, his friend extended us a trip to tour LucasArts (Where Star Wars games are made) since he worked there. I would Love to go, but I don’t really expect him to actually do it. Later we met up with Ciera and Christine and her friend and got some food at Mel’s. After that, me and Joanna went to go to a Star Wars Clone Wars Season Finale Panel which was cool. The guy who played Chewbacca was there (I also got his Autograph) and the voice of Ahsoka. After the panel we left to go home later we went to Denny’s for some dinner. I got some awesome food with tons of BACON, then I did this…

Here is a picture of Ciera her wierd friend and Christine who dressed up.

We went to an A’s game the next day since Joanna got some free tickets. We stayed until the 7th inning since they suck and we’re Giants fans. A couple weeks later my cousins had a game night for my birthday and also my cousin’s boyfriends birthday since Jasmine leaves before my actual bday. It was fun, we played Disney Cranium and Jasmine tried to make a “Mickey Mouse ice cream bar” cake. Didnt work out so well so we each got an ear.

Ok, so for my actual birthday Joanna and Sarah (Her sister) picked me up and we got some food at the mall and then we went to our friend Nikki’s house (the one who just got married, look at my old post). We talked for a little bit and then we went to Old Town Sacramento and walked around. Then we went to the mall and walked around some more, I couldn’t really think of stuff to do. So we went back to Nikki’s place and met up with some more people and then we got dinner at Chicago Fire Pizza. They make traditional Chicago deep dish pizza which was amazingly delicious. I’ve been wanting to try that kind of pizza for years and finally got some. After that we went to RPM for some Indoor Kart racing. It was fun except the guy racing with us who was cheating. After that we went back to Nikki’s and played some Apples to Apples and eat cupcakes that Joanna made. Overall it was a good birthday and I had a good time.

My Grandma’s birthday was a couple days later and we went to Mandarin Chinese Restaurant and almost all my cousins and my aunts and uncles were there. That was fun and good food.

After that nothing much happened. Come back for another post, probably recapping May. I dunno stay Tuned

Disneyland 3/26/11 – 3/30/11

My mom had decided to have her retirement party at Disneyland (which is awesome) inside the exclusive member only “Club 33”. It was going to be awesome since a lot of my family wanted to go to, about 30 people. I left on Friday night around midnight. It was my little brother and sister and we picked up Joanna from her work at midnight and then we drove strait to Anaheim from there. After a long ride and a couple of failed attempts to get food on the way there, we arrived at Disneyland around 7am. Joanna’s Disneyland ticket was bought by my older sister because she gets military discount, so we had to wait for her to show up and show her ID so Joanna can use her ticket. After we got in, We rode a bunch of rides and met up with some family there and it was cool. Got a really good score on Toy Story Midway Mania in CA Adventure, and at 5pm we waited in line at Disneyland for the exclusive sneak peek for “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides” for about 2 hours. We were right near the front of the line and about 30 minutes before it began this lady pirate came out with a Animatronic pirate bird that interacted with guests. then we were let in later and sat on the floor, we were right in front and the pre-show was cool and the clip was cool too and it was in 3D.

The next day we met up with family and did a bunch of stuff and I can’t remember all the things we did that day, but that night, Joanna, Sam, and myself watched World of Color. Alright, the next day was Monday the big day. There were so many of us that went to Club 33 and it was awesome. When I walked in I noticed all the really nice art and everything. After walking around a bit I sat down and ordered my Vodka Tonic. Club 33 is the only place in Disneyland where alcohol is served so I had to get something. the food I ordered was the ” Certified Organic Free Range Chicken, Truffled Mac & Cheese” It was marinated basil, shallots and a Cipollini Jus. I have to say this was the best chicken I’ve ever had. The chicken was moist and juicy with EVERY bite and the Mac and Cheese was crazy good. I would pay $80 for this, because that’s how much it is. After everyone was done eating, we all got some exclusive merchandise. I got an awesome Club 33 Mickey Ears. Then like 30 minutes later we all left and did stuff, I cant remember. After we got back to the hotel, we did stuff and then Joanna, mikey and my dad left to go home.

The next day was my moms birthday and we did a lot of stuff with everyone. I cant remember a lot of what I did while I was at Disneyland. But I do remember that night. Joanna and myself went to go eat at Cafe Orleans. I got a awesome Monte Cristo and the appetizer we got was Pomme Frites, It’s french fries with Parmesan and olive oil and they were a little more crunchy that usual fries and everything was delicious. Oh yeah, my mom left Disneyland early and she spent the day going to places with my aunt and uncle getting stuff at “Porto’s” and “Sprinkles Cupcakes”. Later We got back to the hotel and ate some stuff. The next couple days are a blur I haven’t spent this much time at Disneyland in years. I even got a big blister on my foot that made me limp for more than half the trip. We got back home on Thursday night. And that’s it here are some more pictures and some video I took.

Janurary and Feburary 2011

Well hey everyone here’s some stuff that happened to me.

January was a little slow I guess. I went to cash in all my coins at Coinstar and I held a contest and the winner to get the closest to how much was in there. Joanna won and I have yet to get her a prize lol.

My PlayStation 3 also died on me again. So I learned how to fix it myself and i got pretty good at it. I had to fix it a couple times. Now it works fine YAY!

Just wanted to show this because this made me laugh for weeks.

Couple weeks ago I decided to clean the grill we have. My dad decided to put CHARCOAL in a GAS grill when we first got it, so there was a lot to clean. It took a couple of hours. Now lately I’ve been barbecuing and i’m getting pretty good at it.

My mom, sammy and myself went to the SF Giants FanFest. When we got there the line was really REALLY long. It went all the way from the Willie Mays gate to the O’Doul Bridge (By the Dugout Store), all the way down to the McCovey Statue, almost all the way around the main Parking lot, and then it zig-zagged through the lot. We were in line for a long time and then someone came out and said they reached capacity and not letting anymore people in so we left and Sam was pissed so we went to Walnut Creek to eat at McCovey’s (SF Giants Legend’s restaurant) to make her happy.

My cousin Katrina held a Superbowl party and I won $55 in a pool. and it was a good time

Joanna’s birthday was on February 12 and so there was a plan and then it went to sh*t. I took Joanna to Alcatraz because we have been wanting to go and I was stalling for time while her friends do stuff. we got to SF around 11am and we went to eat crepes for breakfast and then after walking around we got on the boat at 1:30. The audio tour was awesome and we had a good time. We got back to the dock around 4:30. Around this time Joanna’s friends were supposed to be there and surprise her and we would go to Ghiradeli Square and have some dessert. But alas things happened and I had to stall. So we walked around Pier 39 for a long time. We ate some ice cream, tried to find bathrooms in Fisherman’s Wharf and then her friends Robin and Nikki showed up around 7 to surprise her. Then I drove us all to Macaroni Grill for dinner and then back to Robins place for some crazy ass candy covered birthday cake which was good, and cupcakes. They gave her a scrapbook present and then her friend Ciera showed up and we played Apples to Apples.

Here are some pics from Joanna’s Birthday

This past weekend my friend Nikki’s wedding. So Joanna and her friend Robin went to get a “Mani-Pedi” then they picked me up and we headed to her house in Sacramento. When we got there, we were talking with all the people there. Once they all left for the rehearsal dinner, we set up decorations for her Bachlorette party. When we were done, they dropped me off at the movie theater and I watched “Take Me Home Tonight” while they were having fun at Joe’s Crab Shack. By the time I was done, they were still there so I bought another ticket to watch “Hall Pass”. Once that was done Joanna picked me up and then they were all there singing Karaoke Revolution on the PS2. So I went upstairs to the guest room and watched “Gulliver’s Travel” and “Robin Hood” and then I went to sleep.

Here’s a couple of videos of decorating and me not at the bachlorette party

The next day was the wedding and all had lunch at Weinerschitzel. Then we got packed up and went to our hotel in Roseville (Which was horrible). The girls got dressed up and I suited up.

The wedding was nice. It was held in a Community Center and it looked cool. Once it was over, Casey (The groom) asked us to go to their house because they forgot the Marriage license. We left once it was over and an hour later we got to the reception at Dave and Busters. It was cool, we had a private room and the buffet was Italian food. After all the usual things that happen at a reception we all went to play arcade games and get tickets. Overall that weekend was fun.

Here’s a video of the Bride playing DDR

This spring should be interesting. I’ll be going to Disneyland again for my moms retirement party at Club 33 which is a Very exclusive club where the waiting list is like 14 years. Me and Joanna’s 3 year anniversary is on April 2nd, My birthday on April 16, My friend Osman will be back from school in the Caribbean. And probably some other stuff I cant remember anyways thanks for reading!

Happy New Year! Recap of Fall and Winter 2010

Happy New Year! First day of 2011 and I should write a new post.

Well in this month my temp agency at Coke, Spherion, decided to call me and tell me not to come to work for the rest of this one week. They said all the machines were down on my production line. A week past and no call… So I emailed them and they said that I have been laid off. First off don’t lead me on for a week and then lay me off. I thought it was very rude and unprofessional, they just lied to me,so I kept all the stuff they gave me and I still have a security card but I don’t want to go back anyway. After wards I was applying to places and I got a call from another temp agency for a wine bottling gig in Napa. When I started working, I was a Label Operator and I put the labels onthe bottles and it was ok I guess.

Also earlier in the month Me and Joanna went to SF to go to the Ghiradelli Chocolate Festival and it was really cool.We tried a lot of chocolate and there was Chocolate Vodka, Chocolate Beer, Stuffed Marshmallows, Truffles and It was really good.I also go to test drive a really nice new 2011 Cadillac car, Awesome.

Another thing I did was go to a Launch Party for the PlayStation Move. Me and Osman went to SF and arrived at “PlayStation HQ” Lots of cool stuff like free mini cupcakes and lots of free pizza. I probably ate half of an XL pizza.

Well, my grandma had a stroke and had to go the hospital. She lost some brain function on her left side of her brain sothe right side of her body was not working as much. She was in there for a couple weeks. As I am writing this she is homeand is doing a lot better. She can walk better now and her speech is getting better little by little. I also had to go to the Hospital two more times this month. Me and Joanna were hanging out and our friend Ciera called and we rushed over to
Richmond to pick her up and take her to the ER at Richmond Kaiser. And on Halloween night I was with Joanna and wewere watching TV and it was around midnight her back was hurting a lot and we went to Kaiser Vallejo to the ER.They both are fine now.

GIANTS!!! The San Francisco Giants won the NL west and won the World Series and it was awesome.I don’t think I need to say anything else about that.

There was a surprise party my cousin was having for her husband. It was Super Mario Bros. themed and it was cool. She had hats and mustaches and it was fun.

HALLOWEEN! This year for Halloween me and Joanna went mythological and I went as Hercules (Non-Disney ver.)and Joanna went as a Roman Goddess. We went to our friend Christine’s house and it was fun. There was a lot ofpeople and a lot of cool and funny costumes. Plus Joanna got a little tipsy so that was fun too.

Ahh November… The only thing really notable this month was when I got drunk for the first time. I scored someRSVP tickets to the Gran Turismo 5 game for the PlayStation3. Me and Osman went to this and it was really fun.We took BART and it was a few block from the SF MOMA at this place called “Roe’s”. There was a lot of really nice carsWhen we got inside we got a free drink called the “GT5” and it was blue. When we first got in, it looked liked it really suckedso we went upstairs to where the VIP section was, we couldn’t go in But we stayed around the area and we met up with someof the editors of and that was the start of crazyness. We were talking and they gave us their tickets for the “GT5” drinkand we each had 2 more of those. Then suddenly I told them that I had never been drunk before and then they went crazyand got us drinks. For drink #4, while double fisting the GT5 I had a Floradora, which was their drink of choice and it was good.and then I also had a Vodka Tonic and then my last drink I had was a Long Island, yeah I know bad choice. It was fun talkingwith everyone and it was awesome. Then, I started to feel like crap. Threw up in the bar (bathroom) and then lost it all on thewalk to BART. When I got home, Joanna came over to help take care of me. Here are a lot of pics of the night.

With the Editors Daemon (Left), Ryan, Me, and Greg (right)

Me drunk and drunker

Big month. I scored some awesome tickets to a Star Wars Clone Wars screening at Lucasfilm. That sentence itself justsounds awesome. Once again me and Osman head out to SF and arrive at the Letterman Digital Arts Center. Just the Main Lobby is full of awesome stuff. We were the 3rd and 4th people in line and later that night there were storm troopers and Jedi. I also saw Ron Howard walking in the hallway and the guy who played the young kid version of Boba Fett. and some other people most of you don’t know about. Once we got in the theater, it was just awesome and then even George Lucas himself sat in our theater. After the screening we got a cool poster and shirt. Here’s some awesome pics!

DISNEYLAND!!! Yes I went again. Kinda a early Christmas present for Joanna and it was really cool because it was decked out in Christmas decorations. On Saturday me and Joanna flew out to LAX, my family picked us up and we headed to Disneyland. We had a good time that day. We were kinda late for tickets to World of Color but a nice lady gave us and another couple tickets and we had a good view. The next day we took family pictures and stuff and then later… I proposed to Joanna and she said YES! We are now engaged and to celebrate we went to have lunch at the blue Bayou and it was really cool. its that restaurant you see at the beginning of the Pirates of the Caribbean ride. that night we saw fireworks and the whole day was just great.

Christmas this year was good. Joanna got me the Epic Mickey collectors edition for the Wii, Jasmine got me Jones Blue Bubblegum Soda with custom labels with me proposing on the label. Jacqueline got me a Star wars comic and a PS3 Blu Ray remote and Osman got me a Blu ray. We went to my cousin Katrina’s house and it was great.

For New Years Eve, me and Joanna went to Sacramento with her friend Nikki and we went to Old Town Sacramento. It was really cool and there was a festival, a Journey cover band, we had funnel cakes and got really good view of the fireworks by that bridge over there.

So that’s my recap of the last half of 2010. Thanks for taking the time to read and stay tuned for future updates.

Summer 2010 (abridged version)

Ok this is my second time writing this and I had a lot written down. Then I closed the window without saving it so here is the short version

I realized I haven’t done a post since May and since it’s almost the end of summer, I figured it’s about time.

Me and Joanna went to a lot of places the past couple of months. In the middle of May we went to the Academy of Sciences. It was cool, especially the planetarium show. We saw a bunch of cool exhibits but I like all the fish exhibits. It was just cool how they were all presented and the atmosphere of the whole fish area was.

Went to a Giants game where they went into extra innings and they won. That was sweet. I went with my sisters and Joanna.

The day after that was the start of my hell week at work. A coworker that works on my production line (There is about 4 people per line) was going to be gone for 3 weeks and we were told we had to work EVERYDAY for 3 weeks which sucked major balls. I was so tired and sore I called in sick one day.

Adidas launched their new Star Wars line (Just announced their Fall/Winter Line) and they had this awesome video.

During this years E3 they showed some cool videos. Here are some.

Star Wars: The Old Republic Hope Trailer

Kevin Butler appearance at E3 2010

Some game I’ve been playing are:

Toy Story 3 for PS3-Really good game. Story mode is ok and the voice acting is “meh” but where the game really shine is the “Toy Box” mode. Kinda like a family friendly version of Grand Theft Auto.

Red Dead Redemption PS3 – One of the best games I”ve played this year. The story is good (Gets kinda slow in Mexico) and the voice acting is awesome. I have GameFly (Netflix for games) and I’ve had this game for about a month and still play it.

On June 24th, my cousin Joston got married. Here is a video. Sorry the audio is off, i’m just to lazy to fix it

It was so hot in June, around the end of the month Joanna and myself went to Waterworld for a little bit. Couldn’t stay long because of Joanna’s friends wedding reception.

I love the Nickelodeon show “Avatar: The Last Airbender” and I was excited for the movie. I watched it and I think it’s not as bad as everyone says it is. I mean, it wasn’t awesome or anything. The acting was bad and the pacing was really rushed, but I still enjoyed it and I hope the next movie is a lot better minus M. Night Shamaylan.

DISNEYLAND! Yes I went to Disneyland again. This time when we went, it was the 55th Anniversary on that Saturday July17. Everything was awesome and the special 55th Anniversary dedication was cool. Also one of the main reasons I wanted to come was for Star Tours. I wanted to ride it one last time before it shut down (A week later) until they reopen it late next year. Sad to see it go. We finally were able to see World Of Color. It’s a Nighttime water show that makes the Fountains at the Bellagio in Las Vegas look like a flushing toilet .

We saved up a lot of money so we could do a lot of stuff we normaly wouldn’t do like:

Eat at Benihana’s (which was awesome),

Get some cool souvenirs,

And eat at Ariels Grotto (Super expensive and not awesome) and Minnie’s Character Breafast (which was awesome)

At the end of July, we went to the CA State Fair. We had a good time. We played some games and stuff and we spent a good hour or more at a special Animation exhibit where they had a bunch of Disney animation, Pixar, Dreamworks, and Looney tunes stuff. later we met up with our friends Nikki, Christine, Robin and Jon. That was when I bought Chocolate flavored Bacon which I liked. We went though this cool Animatronic Dinosaur thing that was cool. and later I rode this one ride with Nikki because everyone else didn’t want to ride this one.

I went bowling the other night and took this picture around 2 am

Which brings us to the present (as I am writing this). Now i’m just going to talk about the big ass Star Wars Convention held every couple years. So if your not interested you can stop reading now.

Star Wars Celebration V just ended in Orlando Florida. So much news coming out of there like Lucas finally announcing the Blu Ray Release of the entire saga later next year. I would show you the deleted scene they showed from Return of the Jedi, but Lucasfilm took it down. It’s starts with Darth Vader calling to Luke through the Force and then we see Luke finish building his new green Lightsaber and putting it into R2D2’s head before the droids go to Jabba’s palace. At Disneyworld last saturday was the Last Tour to Endor. A special Celebration V party dedicated to the last time people can ride Star Tours at Disney World They had cool stuff like Special Star Wars fireworks, and at the “Indiana Stunt Show Spectacular” they did a special show called “Raiders of the Lost Jedi Temple of Doom” If you want to see the videos of these and more, check out

Aquarium by the Bay

Me and Joanna went to hang out in SF for half a day. We went to Pier 39 and some of Fisherman’s Wharf. We were going to go to the Wax Museum but it was closed for a private event. We got some desert at McDonald’s and then went to the Aquarium. Here are some pics of it.
